1954

Josef and Heinrich J. Kesseböhmer begin manufacturing baskets and riddles for potato-sorting machines built by Becker & Co., Dahlinghausen.
1959

Adding a PVC-coating system enables Kesseböhmer to expand into production of plastic-coated decorative items and sales and display stands.
1961

The first new building (1500 sqm) expands production capacity for presentation and display systems.

Fluidized-bed coating system for plastic coating goes into operation.

Acquisition of a company in Weilheim near Stuttgart expands the product portfolio to include advanced systems for office ergonomics and built-in fittings for caravans. Takeover of a components supplier for furniture fittings in Herrnhut in Saxony.

Takeover of the shopfitting systems supplier STOREbest in Lübeck to complete the product range for the Store Fixtures and Product Display business unit.

The Bohmte plant is expanded by around 7,000 sqm.
2001

Plant in Dahlinghausen expanded by around 12,000 sqm and the adjacent west site completed (car park, new access to main road, rainwater storage reservoir).
2004

50th anniversary of company founding
Direct sales in 52 countries. Five production plants – all of them in Germany.
